Every tool in the operating room has a purpose, a history, and a quiet elegance. In this series, discarded surgical instruments—once used to heal—are reshaped into sculptures that trace the arc of the patient'sjourney. Each piece reflects the tension between precision and unpredictability, the technical and emotional, the planned and the unforeseen.
As a surgeon, I find beauty in the body itself, the curves, the color, the structure, and in the creative work of reshaping it. By transforming medical tools into visual narratives, I aim to honor the deeply human experiences within healthcare. These sculptures invite reflection on the beauty and complexity of healing and the enduring strength found in even the most broken moments.
